New Development in the ASEAN Region

RIKA DENSHI GROUP built the first plant, which is specifically for spring probe manufacturing, in the ASEAN region, Thailand. As the full-scale production has already begun, all production lines from RIKA DENSHI AMERICA, INC. and 60-70% of production lines from RIKA DENSHI CO.,LTD. Kumamoto Plant are transferred to the new facility.

Products manufactured in Thailand are delivered to each group company from our new group company in Singapore, RIKA ELECTRONICS INTERNATIONAL ASIA PACIFIC PTE.,LTD. The company is established in September, 2008 as the group's logistics base.

We have set a production target of one million per month in the new plant's first year of operation. We are going to increase the capital spending and double the production target in the following year.

In Japan, we will further strengthen the production system of Fujimi plant, which is in charge of components manufacturing, to meet the added demand from the new plant. On the other hand, 30%-40% of production llines in Kumamoto plant are remained due to Production Engineering Section and Technology Development Section attached to the plant. This enables us to reflect our customers' technical needs to the production lines immediately in addition to developing new products.
